I plan to
have session to teach / help you as a staff with you class web sites at
some point before school starts. Those of you who would like to work on
it during the summer can come see me most anytime during the day in my
class room. In order to enhance your class web sites, you have to use
code. The good thing is you don't have to full understand code or have
to write it yourself. Most of it comes down to copying and pating from
other sources. Below are some links that might help you enhance your web
sites. Just remember, when using code, it has to be:
1. exactly correct
2. have a beginning
3. have an ending
Example: to change font color, you would type this: "HI".
Greater than / less than signs at beginning and end of each code. Font
color is the action, folowed by the equal sign. The quotes encompass the
dsired effect: ffcc00 (color code for yellow gold). Type what you want
color changed next. Then end the code by " ".
Again with the greater than and less than signs and action. Every ending
action will have a forward slash in front of the action." "
Another way to do this is through FrontPage. Creat what you want in FrontPage.
When it is done, switch to html side where you will see the code for what
you have created. You can then copy and paste that entire code into the
box on the class web site page you are editing / creating. Hit save and
preview to see how it turned out.
